Meet Dr. Vin Vu


vinDr. Vu earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He graduated cum laude and a University Scholar. He competed and lettered on the men’s gymnastics team. He went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from UW-Oshkosh, graduating with a 3.92 GPA. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2000, graduating in the top 10% of his class. Among his many awards and honors in dental school, his most distinguished recognition was his selection into the Omicron Upsilon Kappa organization, a prestigious national dental honor society.



Dr. Vu is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (  He has earned Accredited status after successfully completing a rigorous credentialing process that involve a written examination, the submission of clinical cases for examination, and an oral examination. Of the 7000 AACD members in 80 countries worldwide, he is one of 400 dentists in the world and one of two dentists in the State of Wisconsin to have reach this prestigious and rigorous achievement (as of 2014).

Dr. Vu was honored to be asked by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry committee to publish one of his dental cosmetic case in the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry. This is one of the most of prestigious journals in cosmetic dentistry in the world. (Read Dr. Vu’s publication).

Dr. Vu is passionate and committed to continue learning and improving his clinical skills. He earns over 60 credit hours of continuing education per year, which is at least four times more credit hours than what is required by the State of Wisconsin. As an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Vu attends almost all of the AACD annual conferences to take hands-on and lectures courses from some of the best dentists in the world. Dr. Vu is among the 5% of the U.S. dentist to have graduated from the Dawson Academy (, a world renowned postgraduate dental education training.

Dr.Vu is a member of the Dawson Alumni Association, the Dawson Study Club, the American Dental Association (, the Academy of General Dentistry (, and the Wisconsin Dental Association (

Dr. Vu volunteers over 50 hours per year on the Tri-County Community Dental bus that provides free dental services to the residents of Oshkosh and surrounding Fox Valley cities.  He also volunteers to the Give Back A Smile program that restores teeth to the adult women and men who have suffered dental injuries from domestic and sexual violence.

Dr. Vu and his wife, along with their three children, live in Oshkosh. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys traveling.
